Cotton Bag Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process of cotton bags must be explained from its initial step.
The cotton bags manufacturers first send the cotton bales into the ginning section. Ginning is the process of removing the seeds and also the debris from the cotton. Then they are moved into the next step of spinning.
Spinning is the way of drawing out fibres from a mass and twisting together to form yarn. The cotton fibres undergo mixing, blowing, carding and roving. Then they are spun into yarn. It is then passed on to the process of weaving. Then it gets ready for the print if needed. The machine printing is done and passed on to the drying and curing unit. In the fabric department, the fabric is inspected in terms of the colour and weight.
When these are tested, then it is moved onto the cutting department from the fabric department. In the cutting department the clothes are laid. Separate pieces for handle are cut and attached with the bag portion. Marking is done onto the clothes that have been laid and on the marks the cutting is done. The cut clothes will be received as bundles. Then there comes the process of bundling.
Then the next step is mesh adjustment. Then screen cutting is done on to it and then they are passed on to the process of air drying and curing. When these printed clothes are dried they are taken to the Stitching department.
All the bags are stitched at the bottom. The arms are stitched to the upper part of the bags. Firm stitch is made to the arms so that the bag can tolerate heavy weights. Then it must be involved in quality check whether it has torn or not, whether the threads are protruding or not and then the bags are checked. Any bags with loose arms are intimated and given double stitches for strong handles. When the check is done, the bags are then properly dispatched. Based upon the orders, the cotton bags are manufactured and exported. The cotton bag exporters thus need IEC (Import and Export Code) since they export the bags overseas. The cotton bag suppliers (both domestic and International) are very keen on getting our cotton bags since it is purely organic. We meet the high demands to satisfy the people.
Organic Cotton Bags in Karur
These kinds of cotton bags have natural fibres i.e the organic cotton is grown without the use of any pesticides. Also recycled cotton has reclaimed organic which is spun into yarn. They are machine washable and it is also a renewable source. The GSP industries make use of this organic cotton fibre which has less negative environmental footprint on cotton production.
Hence cotton bag manufacturing is now a revolution in the textile industry and can meet the needs of the people in day to day life. These cotton bags are strong and can work for long time. Traditional cotton clothes called ’gaada’ is bought and can be used for making cotton bags from lower price to higher price according t the sizes of the bags needed.
In most of the cities like Coimbatore cotton mills are greatest source of income. The city is fondingly called as”Manchester of South India”. Of course the price to buy cotton is costlier and so the left over’s while making cotton bags can be used effectively.
